It was so realistic that I had to put the book down because it hit home so deeply.Jackson's writing style is gentle. The story doesn't race along, instead she lingers on characters and their internal conflict. She has written a good look at how easy it is to let the external pressures of life come between a couple.
This book is worth a read if you are looking for something that is more realistic in the lesbian genre.
